正面描述 Draped and armored bust of Anthony II, Count of Montfort, facing right, wearing a flowing allonge wig in the late Baroque fashion with gorget and ornamental pauldron visible at the truncation. The effigy is set within a beaded inner circle, with the circumferential Latin legend running between the beaded border and the outer denticled rim. A rosette ornament separates the beginning and end of the legend.

附加信息

Montfort-Peggau was among the smallest and most obscure of the Habsburg-era Swabian counties, its minting activity compressed into a narrow window before the line's extinction. Anton II — Anton Johann Baptist, Graf von Montfort — presided over a territory so diminutive that its coin issues were more a jurisdictional assertion than a practical monetary contribution. The Holy Roman Empire's minting rights were jealously exercised by even the most minor counts, regardless of economic necessity.

KM#82 is a scarce survivor from a series that saw limited production and negligible circulation beyond the immediate lordship.
