| Obverse description | The heraldic bear of Saint Gall, rampant and facing right, is depicted in high relief at the centre of the field, clutching a diagonal log or staff. The bear is enclosed within an open wreath composed of leafy branches tied at the base, rendered in a bold baroque engraving style. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse. The coin's milled edge is visible at the periphery. |

| Reverse description | The denomination and date are presented within an ornate baroque cartouche occupying the central field. The multi-line Latin legend reads MON. PRINCIP. TERRIT. S. GALLI, with the date 1781 below and the numeral 15 at the base of the cartouche, denoting the 15 Kreuzer value. The cartouche is decorated with scrollwork and foliate flourishes in the surrounding field, consistent with the ecclesiastical coinage style of the Abbey of Saint Gall under Prince-Abbot Beda Angehrn. |
