Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic civic tradition with hair arranged in formal, stylized curls. The portrait occupies the central field and is enclosed within a dotted border. The die work displays the characteristically compact style associated with the civic bronze coinage of the Kaystriani region of Lydia.

Reverse description Nemean lionskin draped over a upright club set centrally in the field, the paws hanging at either side in a symmetrical arrangement, a standard Heraklean type employed widely in Lydian civic bronze coinage. A monogram appears in the lower right field. The legend KAYCTΡIANΩN ΔK is distributed around the design within a dotted border, identifying the issuing civic community of the Kaystriani.
