Issued to mark the tercentenary of Jonathan Swift's manuscript completion of Gulliver's Travels, though the book wasn't published until 1726 — nine years later, and anonymously, with Swift denying authorship for years out of fear of prosecution for its political satire. The Central Bank produced this as part of a broader Irish commemorative literary series.
