| Reverse description | At centre, a gold-plated octagonal cartouche displays a sow facing right accompanied by two piglets, rendered in a stylised Chinese artistic tradition. Surrounding the central cartouche within the silver field are twelve individual medallions, each depicting one of the animals of the Chinese zodiac in relief, arranged in a circular composition and separated by a beaded inner border. The overall design, engraved by José Osio, celebrates the Chinese lunar Year of the Pig. |
