| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Susanna Blunt, depicting the Queen in mature age wearing a pearl necklace and pearl drop earrings, with hair styled in an upswept coiffure. The field is richly decorated with an overlapping arc or wave pattern rendered in fine engraving, evoking a traditional Asian seigaiha (sea wave) motif.
