| Reverse description | The reverse features a highly detailed, finely engraved depiction of a rooster rendered in the Chinese brush-painting tradition, set against a mirror-polished proof field. The rooster is shown in three-quarter view, facing left with its beak open, its plumage rendered with intricate individual feather detailing across the breast, wings, and tail. Sweeping tail feathers arc dramatically toward the upper right, while the lower field is occupied by a bed of finely engraved lotus blossoms and buds, characteristic of the Lunar Lotus series design.
