| Beschrijving voorzijde | The sixth and final crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as designed by Jody Clark, faces right, rendered in fine relief against an unadorned field. The Queen is depicted wearing the George IV State Diadem and the Victorian Coronation Necklace, with a draped bust. The peripheral legend reads ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA, accompanied by the designer's initials JC, the coin's fractional weight designation 1/10oz, the fineness mark 9999 Au, and the denomination 15 DOLLARS. |

The Perth Mint's lunar series has run continuously since 1996, making the 2022 Tiger issue part of the third full cycle through the twelve-year calendar — the first Lunar Series III Tiger. Each restart of the cycle brings updated portraiture and refined design work, but the .9999 fineness has been a constant since the series launched, placing it among the purest mass-produced bullion programs anywhere.
The sixth portrait of Elizabeth II, by Jody Clark, was introduced across Australian coinage in 2019 and would prove to be the final official effigy before her death in September 2022.
