| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a finely detailed depiction of a red kangaroo standing in a natural Australian bushland setting, facing left with head lowered. Native Australian flora, including a waratah flower and eucalyptus foliage, frame the animal in the mid and lower field. The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark appears to the left of the kangaroo, alongside the engraver's initials 'NM'. The curved legend 'AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO' arcs along the upper rim, while the inscription '2021 1/10oz 9999 GOLD' is positioned along the lower rim. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Australia's gold kangaroo bullion program has run continuously since 1986, making it one of the longer-lived national gold bullion series. Unlike many sovereign bullion programs that lock in a single design, the Perth Mint has changed the kangaroo reverse annually — a deliberate strategy to sustain collector demand alongside pure bullion buyers, and one that has broadly succeeded in keeping premiums elevated on older-dated pieces.
The sixth portrait of Elizabeth II, by Jody Clark, was introduced to Australian coinage in 2019.
