| Additional information |
Australia's Kangaroo bullion series has been issued annually since 1989, making it one of the longer-running gold bullion programs from any sovereign mint. The transition to Charles III's effigy on Australian coinage followed the Queen's death in September 2022, with the Perth Mint adopting the first portrait — sculpted by Martin Jennings — across its bullion and collector output as Commonwealth mints phased in the new obverse on their own schedules.
