Reverse description A large, finely detailed bouquet of hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis) dominates the central field, rendered in high relief with prominent petals, staminal column, and surrounding serrated leaves. The stems are gathered and tied with a decorative ribbon bow at the lower centre, from which scrolling foliate tendrils extend to either side. The denomination legend FIFTEEN CENTS arcs along the lower left and right borders respectively, with the date flanking the Franklin Mint mintmark at the bottom, all contained within a beaded border following the contour of the square flan.
