Fulleda is a village in the comarca of Les Garrigues, Tarragona, with a population that likely numbered in the hundreds during the Civil War years. Like hundreds of other Catalan municipalities, the Ajuntament issued fractional emergency currency — moneda de necessitat — to address the near-total disappearance of small coinage from circulation after 1936.
