Obverse description Laureate head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition. The emperor's features are delicately modelled with curling hair visible beneath the laurel wreath. The Greek legend ϹΕΒΑϹΤΟϹ (Sebastos, the Greek equivalent of Augustus) runs along the periphery of the flan. The die work reflects the provincial engraving style of Ionia in the early Imperial period.

Reverse description Draped bust of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Attic helmet and aegis adorned with serpentine border elements visible at the shoulder. The goddess is depicted in the classical Hellenistic manner, with fine engraving detailing the helmet crest and cheekpiece. The Greek ethnic legend ΠΡΙΗΝΕΩΝ (of the Prieneans) curves along the left field, identifying this as a civic issue of Priene. The composition is typical of Ionian provincial bronzes struck under Augustus.
