Obverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in the archaic Greek provincial style with thick curling locks of hair and beard framing a broad, heavy-featured face. The portrait fills the flan, with the wreath visible along the crown of the head. The surfaces show typical wear and flan irregularity consistent with hammered bronze coinage of the Hellenistic period.
