| Additional information |
Laos issued a run of commemorative silver pieces around the turn of the millennium targeting the collector and bullion-gift market in Southeast Asia, where dragon and fish motifs carry strong commercial appeal across regional buyers. The Bank of the Lao PDR had limited domestic numismatic infrastructure at the time and contracted production to foreign mints — a common arrangement for small-nation commemoratives of this period.
KM#76 sees relatively thin secondary-market activity outside specialist Southeast Asian sales.
