| Aanvullende informatie |
Equatorial Guinea's gold issues of the early 1990s were produced almost entirely for the collector export market — the country's CFA franc monetary relationship with the Banque des États de l'Afrique Centrale gave it little practical reason to strike domestic gold coinage. This piece was almost certainly minted under contract at a European facility rather than on Equatoguinean soil, where no mint infrastructure existed.
