She is depicted wearing a high-collared blouse with decorative trim, and holds a small floral bouquet at lower right. The birth and death years 1847 and 1922 are inscribed in two lines at left of the portrait. The name HUGONNAI VILMA appears in large lettering to the right of the effigy, and the curved legend AZ ELSŐ MAGYAR ORVOSNO arcs along the upper rim. A small engraver's monogram is present at lower right in the field. |
