| 背面描述 | The reverse features a finely detailed portrait of the Hungarian poet and literary translator Ágnes Nemes Nagy, depicted against a background of a bookshelf densely filled with volumes, evoking her literary world. In the foreground, partially obscuring the books, appears a smaller portrait of Mihály Babits, her literary mentor. The inscription NEMES NAGY ÁGNES is placed in the upper left field, with the years 1922 and 1991, denoting her birth and death respectively, arranged in two slightly offset lines below. The sculptor Balázs Pelcz has incorporated his master's mark discreetly within the rendering of the poet's attire, and the mint engraver's initials PB appear in the lower field. |

Ágnes Nemes Nagy (1922–1991) was the dominant voice of Hungarian objectivist poetry and a central figure in the Újhold literary circle, which was suppressed by the Communist regime in 1948 and effectively silenced for decades. She spent much of the Rákosi era unable to publish her own verse, working instead as a translator — her Hungarian renderings of Racine and Brecht remain standard texts. This coin was issued on the centenary of her birth.
