Reverse description A triple-tailed horse prancing to the right, depicted in an energetic and highly stylized Celtic manner with exaggerated limbs and flowing tail strands. A distinctive solar flower or rosette motif occupies the upper field above the horse. Below the horse, a prominent six-spoked wheel fills the lower field, a common sacred or solar symbol in Brittonic coinage. Additional pellets and crescentic ornaments animate the surrounding field. The entire composition exemplifies the dynamic abstract aesthetic of British Iron Age gold coinage derived from the Ambiani stater tradition.
