附加信息	Medeion was a minor Akarnanian polis whose coinage is known almost entirely from a single concentrated find — the BCD collection, assembled by a specialist whose pseudonymous identity became inseparable from the scholarship on this region. Without that collection, the civic series of inland Akarnania would be largely undocumented. HGC 4, 892 records only a handful of specimens, making individual die studies effectively impossible at current census levels.
