Obverse description Pegasus in flight to the left, depicted with wings raised and forelegs extended in characteristic Corinthian style. The mythological winged horse is rendered in relief against a plain field, with the archaic Corinthian letter qoppa (Ϙ) placed below the figure as a magistrate's or mint control mark. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze coinage of the early Hellenistic period.
