Obverse description Two roosters depicted in confronted or juxtaposed arrangement, rendered in archaic Ionian style with bold, confident relief. The birds are shown with characteristic comb, wattle, and feathered body, their forms naturalistically modeled within the irregular flan. The design is executed in the early electrum coinage tradition of western Anatolia, with the devices occupying the majority of the obverse field. No inscription or legend is present.
