| 正面描述 | Helmeted head of Athena facing left, rendered in archaic Greek style with visible crested Attic helmet. The goddess's facial features are rendered with characteristic severity, her eye depicted in the early frontal convention within a profile portrait. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical ancient patination consistent with a civic bronze issue. |

Elaia was among the smaller Aeolian coastal settlements on the gulf south of Pergamon, more port than polis, and its civic bronze issues were produced to meet purely local exchange needs. The Winterthur reference places this piece within a well-documented Swiss collection that dispersed significant Aeolian material, but the type itself remains lightly studied — Elaia generated no major numismatic literature of its own, and attribution often depends on die comparison rather than any strong epigraphic tradition.
