Obverse description Bare head of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, the cheek-guards partially raised. The modeling of the face and helmet is rendered in a bold, somewhat archaic provincial style characteristic of Phrygian civic coinage of the Hellenistic period. The field is plain, with no legend or additional devices.
