Obverse description Facing head of a divinity, most likely Apollo or Artemis, rendered in low relief with fine facial features and a radiate or wreathed coiffure. The effigy is centrally placed within the broadly flat field, occupying the greater part of the flan. The style is characteristic of Arkadian civic bronzes of the Hellenistic period, with a slightly idealized yet provincial execution. The surface shows an olive-green patina with areas of earthen encrustation typical of excavated bronzes.
