Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in a compact archaic-influenced style characteristic of Carian satrapal coinage. The hair falls in wavy locks behind the neck, and the laurel wreath is indicated by a band across the crown of the head. The portrait is executed with considerable skill given the diminutive flan, with clearly defined facial features including a prominent eye, aquiline nose, and slightly parted lips. The field is plain, and the irregular flan edges reflect the hand-struck production technique typical of fourth-century BC Greek Asia Minor issues.

Reverse description A labrys (double-headed axe), the ancient sacred symbol of Caria, depicted upright with the handle extending downward toward the lower edge of the flan. The two symmetrical curved blades of the axe are rendered in bold, clean relief. The Greek letters Π and I flank the handle on either side, serving as abbreviated ethnic or authority markers associated with the satrap Pixodarus. The composition is centrally placed on the plain field, and the overall execution is crisp despite the tiny module.
