Obverse description Confronted foreparts of a lion and a bull in heraldic opposition: the lion, facing right, occupies the left side of the field, while the bull, facing left, occupies the right, their heads meeting at center. The design is rendered in the archaic Lydian style characteristic of the Kroisos coinage, with bold and compact modelling on an irregularly shaped flan. No legend or inscription is present.

Reverse description Plain, undecorated incuse square punch of irregular quadrilateral form, deeply driven into the flan, dividing the reverse into recessed compartments. The surface within the incuse is rough and shows the characteristic texture of the hammered punch used in early Lydian minting practice. No legend, symbol, or additional device is present.
