Obverse description Brown letterpress note dated 1799, revalidated by a red crowned starburst overprint reading "D. PEDRO IV 1826". A row of eight vignettes in oval frames runs across the upper portion of the note. Manuscript and printed text fill the body of the note, including the denomination of 1200 Réis and the promise-to-pay inscription of the Real Erário, with handwritten signatures of officials below.

Reverse description Plain paper reverse, largely blank, bearing approximately ten ink validation stamps applied at various periods of circulation, including two large circular fiscal or treasury stamps in the lower portion and several smaller circular stamps across the upper area. A cursive manuscript notation appears along the right margin, with additional handwritten numerals visible at lower right.
