| Obverse description | The obverse features the national arms of the Democratic Republic of Congo at centre, depicting a leopard's head facing front, superimposed upon a crossed elephant tusk and spear, all mounted on a plinth bearing the motto PAIX in raised lettering. To the left and right of the arms appear the mottoes JUSTICE and TRAVAIL respectively, with the date 2013 divided across the lower field. The peripheral legend REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO arcs along the upper rim within a beaded border, while the denomination 120 FRANCS and the fineness mark 1/2 oz Ag 999 are inscribed along the lower rim. |
