Obverse description Central device comprising a Macedonian royal symbol — a stylized trident or anchor motif — set within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding field is richly decorated with a broad border of crescent moons and pellets arranged in an alternating pattern, evoking celestial symbolism characteristic of early Hellenistic bronze coinage. The overall composition is bold and symmetrical, executed in high relief typical of the Macedonian mint tradition of the late 4th century BC.

Reverse description A Macedonian helmet of Boeotian type shown in three-quarter view, centrally positioned within a wreath of oak or laurel leaves. To the left of the helmet the Greek letter Beta (Β) and to the right the letter Alpha (Α) flank the device, together forming the abbreviation ΒΑ for ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ (King). A dotted border frames the entire design, consistent with the standard reverse type for Alexander III bronze issues attributed to Price 405.
