| Obverse description | Armored bust of King Ferdinando I facing right, with long flowing hair, the shoulder pauldron and gorget rendered in fine detail. The denomination T.12. appears in the exergue below the truncation. The encircling Latin legend is separated from the effigy by a beaded inner border, with a further beaded outer border framing the entire design. |
