Obverse description Highly stylized Celticized male head facing left, rendered in the abstract La Tène artistic tradition with boldly incised linear elements. The facial features are deconstructed into geometric forms, with pellets denoting the eye and sweeping curved lines suggesting the hair and neck. A boar, the emblematic animal of the Aulerci Eburovices, stands left at the neck of the figure, its body rendered with characteristic Celtic abstraction. The flan is irregularly shaped and the design fills the field with dynamic, flowing lines typical of Gaulish coinage of this period. No legend or inscription is present.
