| Reverse description | Celticised figure of Nike or a seated deity facing left, derived from the enthroned figure on the reverse of Lysimachos stater prototypes, holding a small stylised figure or wreath in the extended right hand. The surrounding legend, originally reading BASILEOS LYSIMAXOU on the prototype, is fully degraded into a series of horizontal dashes to the left and right of the figure. A letter N appears in the inner left field, and a trident symbol is placed to the lower left, serving as a mint or workshop control mark. The overall composition demonstrates advanced abstraction characteristic of late Geto-Dacian or Bastarnae coinage in the Pontic region. |
