Beschrijving voorzijde	Highly stylized and abstracted effigy of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, derived from the prototype of Lysimachos staters. The portrait is rendered in a barbarian Celtic-Scythian artistic idiom, with the characteristic elephant scalp or lion-skin headdress reduced to a bold curved band across the crown. The flowing hair is depicted as a cluster of raised globules arranged in an arc to the left of the face, a hallmark of the Kolchis imitative series. The facial features are schematically rendered, retaining only the essential contours of the cheek, brow, and chin. The plain field surrounding the portrait is broad and characteristic of the irregularly shaped hammered flan.
