Reverse description Stylized figure of Athena Nikephoros seated left on a throne, rendered in a heavily degenerate barbarous style derived from the Lysimachos stater type. A transverse spear is depicted in the background, and the letter Nu (N) appears to the inner left of the figure. A trident symbol is placed left in the exergue. The flanking legend, which on the prototype reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, has been fully degraded into ornamental hash marks or pseudo-epigraphic strokes, reflecting the deep remove of this imitative issue from its Hellenistic model.
