Reverse description Crude and highly barbarised depiction of Athena Nikephoros seated to the left, loosely derived from the reverse type of Lysimachos staters. The goddess holds a small standing male figure (Nike) in her extended right hand and bears a transverse spear over her left shoulder. Flanking the central figure on both sides are vertical columns of oblong pellets, serving as degenerate renderings of the original legend or decorative border elements. Below the figure, a trident oriented to the left functions as an exergual line, a distinctive regional variant of the Kolchis imitation series.
