| Obverse description | Draped bust of Hera in right profile, her hair elaborately bound beneath a low stephane ornamented with a small bird or decorative element at the crown. The goddess wears a necklace, and her facial features are rendered in the refined late Classical style characteristic of Pontic coinage. The neck and upper drapery are visible at the lower truncation, lending a sculptural quality to the effigy. No legend appears in the field. |
