Obverse description The field is occupied by a multi-line Persian nastaliq legend arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal ruled line, all contained within a dotted border. The upper register bears the royal epithet and the name of the issuing authority, while the lower register continues the regnal formula proclaiming Ibrahim Shah. The script is deeply struck in the fluid, calligraphic nastaliq style characteristic of Afsharid hammered coinage, with the bold strokes of the legend filling the flan to its edges.
