Obverse description Central field displays an elaborate oval six-fold coat of arms of Bishop Johann Konrad II von Reinach-Hirzbach, surmounted by a princely crowned helmet with mantling and supported by decorative baroque scrollwork. The shield quarters the arms of the Bishopric of Basel with those of the Reinach family. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition, separated from the coin's milled edge by an inner border.
