| Obverse description | Unadorned right-facing bust of King Frederik V with flowing, elaborately curled hair tied at the nape with a ribbon bow, truncation showing draped shoulders. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque portrait style, with a pronounced curl falling behind the neck. A beaded border frames the design, and the Latin royal titulature legend runs continuously around the periphery. |

| Reverse description | A large elaborate royal crown occupies the upper central field, beneath which the denomination in Roman numerals and the date appear in two lines divided by the mintmaster's and engraver's initials serving as a mintmark. The royal motto is inscribed in a legend arc above the crown. The overall composition is symmetrical and heraldic in character, with all elements contained within a beaded border. |
