Reverse description Standing full-length figure of Saint Andrew the Apostle, nimbed and depicted facing slightly to the right, draped in flowing robes and holding a large diagonal cross (the crux decussata, or X-shaped cross of his martyrdom) in his left arm while his right hand gathers his garment. The figure is rendered in moderate relief with careful attention to drapery folds, occupying the full height of the inner field. The circular Latin legend SANCT ANDREAS REVIVISCENS surrounds the figure, reading from lower left to upper right around the periphery.
