Above the shield, the denomination mark 'K · XII ·' is prominently struck, denoting 12 Kreuzer. The mintmaster's initials 'P·GN' appear in an ornamental cartouche at the base of the design. The circular legend reads 'NÜRNBERGER STADT MUNTZ' in raised lettering around the periphery, separated from the inner design by a beaded border. |

AUG.' — identifying the Holy Roman Emperor Charles VI — runs around the outer field, framed by a beaded border. The composition is rendered in a bold, deeply struck baroque style typical of early eighteenth-century German municipal coinage. |
