Obverse description Two archaic Chinese seal-script characters reading right to left — '齊貝' (Qi Bei) — incuse-cast within the flat field of the spade blade, separated by a raised vertical dividing line running centrally from shoulder to foot. The characters occupy the upper and lower registers of the blade respectively, rendered in the angular, abbreviated style characteristic of Warring States bronze spade coinage. The overall surface displays an uneven patina consistent with ancient casting and long burial.
