| Beschrijving keerzijde | Plain reverse of cast bronze spade money, exhibiting the smooth interior surface typical of flat-foot spade coinage produced by the state of Wei during the Warring States period. Raised casting seam lines are visible running vertically through the central field and along the leg shanks, consistent with the two-piece clay mould casting technique employed in ancient Chinese bronze coinage. The surface displays extensive green and brown patination characteristic of long-buried bronze antiquities, with the hollow-handled neck and squared shoulder profile clearly defined. |
