| Beschrijving voorzijde | Draped bust of Anthony Günther, Count of Oldenburg and Delmenhorst, facing slightly to the right, depicted with long flowing hair, a mustache, and a short beard, wearing a lace collar and armored cuirass. The portrait is rendered in a bold, late-Baroque provincial style characteristic of mid-17th-century German coinage. The effigy is contained within a raised inner circle, with the Latin circumscription reading ANTON • GVNT • COM • OLDEN • & • DELM • DYN • IEV • ET • KNIP running around the periphery. A small hole is visible at the top of the flan, indicating the coin was at some point used as a pendant or suspension piece. |
