| Descripción del reverso | The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription occupying the entire field of the square flan, recording the regnal titles and name of the sultan: 'al-Imam al-A'zam Qutb al-Dunya wa'l-Din Abu'l-Muzaffar', along with the AH date 719. The inscription identifies the ruler as the Supreme Imam and Axis of the World and Faith, titles adopted by Qutb-ud-Din Mubarak Shah to assert both temporal and spiritual authority. The text is disposed across several lines in the angular Naskh script typical of early fourteenth-century Delhi Sultanate issues. The hammered square flan shows characteristic irregular edges. |
