| Beschrijving voorzijde | Square klippe flan with clipped corners, struck in high-relief hammered technique. The central field bears the interlaced GWC monogram of the Geoctroyeerde Westindische Compagnie — a large, ornate cipher formed by the conjoined letters G, W, and C — occupying the lower portion of the field. Above the monogram, the Roman numeral XII denotes the denomination. The entire device is enclosed within a raised circular dotted border set against the plain gold field of the square planchet. |
