The lower field features a wheat sheaf motif in the exergue, with the commemorative inscription '8 IUNIE 1930 8 IUNIE 1940' incused across two lines at the bottom, marking the tenth anniversary of his accession to the Romanian throne. The portrait is rendered in high relief with strong neoclassical artistic influence. |
