| 备注 |
The Riksens Ständers Bank — predecessor to the Riksbank — issued these transport notes not as ordinary circulating currency but as instruments tied to specific transfers of funds, a distinction that mattered legally and commercially in mid-18th century Sweden. The 1740s were a period of severe monetary strain in Sweden, with the bank already deep into the inflationary spiral that would eventually force a currency reset in 1776. Notes from this period circulated under considerable public skepticism, and the transport format was partly an attempt to impose accountability on movements of larger sums.
The watermark is the sole security measure recorded, which was already considered inadequate by contemporary critics of the bank's note policy.
