| Reverse description | The Haitian coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a tall royal palm tree surmounted by a Phrygian cap, flanked symmetrically by two crossed cannons resting on cannonballs at the base and palm fronds extending to either side. Artillery pieces with spoked wheels are positioned at the lower left and right, referencing Haiti's hard-won independence. The design fills the field to the milled border, rendered in moderate relief consistent with the hand-engraved dies of early republican Haiti. |
